WestOne Passenger Cars is accredited with the Year 2000 revision of the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 148 countries, on the basis of one member per country. The Year 2000 revision of the ISO 9001:2000 standard gave WestOne Cars the opportunity to further increase value to our activities and to improve performance continually by focusing on the major processes within the organisation.

ISO 9001:2000 is one of the world’s most widely known standards implemented by some 610,000 organisations in 160 countries. It is known as the international reference for quality management requirements in business to business dealings.

Awards

WestOne Cars won the Institute of Transport Management (ITM) award for Best Executive Transport Service 2005. Criteria taken into consideration for the award included customer service, quality of fleet, driver skill, accessibility and customer satisfaction. We were delighted to accept the award as an industry recognition of our commitment to delivering excellent passenger car services to our customers.

The Environment

WestOne Cars recognises the impact its business activities has on the environment and in order to minimise this impact has put in place a number of comprehensive environmental activities. We have an environment consultant whose role it is to implement the activities, ensure the high levels of standard are maintained and provide training, support and advice to staff on environmental topics. The company is fully committed to, and has been accredited with the ISO: 14001:2004 - Environmental Management System (EMS) standard.
